About My Coaching Offer
I believe we are most effective as leaders when we are clear about how and where we add most value, particularly in the face of change and uncertainty. I help my clients to develop the resilience, flexibility, and agility they need to lead and learn effectively, including recognising and drawing on their own values, spotting patterns of behaviour and building self-awareness and emotional intelligence, in order to respond effectively to challenges, make better decisions and achieve goals. I have been a champion for inclusion, diversity and equality throughout my career, and remain a strong advocate, passionate about helping women leaders and supporting all clients in building inclusive and diverse teams.
We shall have a (no charge) ‘chemistry’ session before we decide to work together in what is, after all, a mutual collective endeavour rooted in trust and confidentiality. My own experience of being coached and coaching others has resulted in my creating ‘bookends’ for my coaching sessions. They often start with a few minutes of breathing - signaling your stepping out of today’s hurly burly. I shall challenge but also cherish you during our time together, exploring your goal and agenda with curiosity, imagination but also pragmatism. Hence my coaching sessions usually end with identifying ‘take aways’ - what will be different or feel different as a result of our session today? How will you know?
Research has shown spending time in nature can have a positive impact on both physical and mental health, reducing stress and anxiety, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving abilities. I incorporate nature into my coaching practice, often coaching out of doors, noticing the seasons and helping clients to connect with the natural world. I practice ashtanga yoga, and am learning about somatic coaching - the connection between the body, mind, and emotions, how we hold and ‘centre’ ourselves, and the benefits such practices can bring, especially in preparation for tough encounters or during stressful times.
